[Closed RP @Mataeru - Mataeru Lloria ]
-Sanctuary's Hangar, Dormin's Orbiter -
<03/23 DR 14:50>

A message came to Mataeru's Private Comms:

"Forgive me if interrupted anything. If you happen to be free of any duty, now would be appropriate time for you to meet with my Mistress. She and I want to discuss the perspectives of our alliance with your cause and potential opportunities that alliance brings. In any case we await your answer and/or arrival on our Orbiter."

~after a few minutes a prompt to enter the orbiters reaches the inhabitants~
Mataeru:
"I have arrived as requested."

Dormin:
He met him at the door in his usual masked attire
"Greetings, Shadowed One."
He bowed to him "You are actually a tad bit early, but no matter. Come."
He guided Mataeru through the corridors of the Orbiter, filled with plant life and Ayatan statues, installed on golden pedestals.
"In advance, i want to assure you that the topics of today's discussion are no laughing matter. My Mistress is rather adamant about "planting a seed of progress in the soil of this alliance", as she put it. A bit of forewarnings though. My Mistress is a part of very old Orokin Bloodline. A Royalty, you could say. I was chosen to be her bodyguard after i became Tenno. Other Tenno would rather kill the little girl in order to "end the Orokin Masters for good". That is why i don't see eye to eye with most of them. But i believe you would be different on that account. You've proven to be different from them from the beginning. "

~The room they ended up in was the Transference Room. The difference was a medium-sized round table in the middle of the room with three comfy-looking chairs around it. On the table were a white vial made of bone, and three shot-glasses.~

Dormin:
“Palara, where is she? Our guest has arrived.”
<Cephalon Palara>
Female robotic voice came from the ceiling.
“The Mistress prepares herself, she will join you shortly.”
Dormin:
he looks at Mata
“I guess we’ll have to wait. Sit down, please.”
he takes his place in one of the chairs.

Mataeru:
After listening in silence, he slides down into the chair and looks around
"Definitely a different look than I am used to inside an Orbiter...
However, I commend your decorating skills."

<Lyria>
"Why thank you, we both worked pretty hard on that."
A beautiful black-haired girl in traditional attire of Orokin Nobility entered the room.

Dormin:
“Well, not a moment too soon.”
he kicked back in his chair

<Lyria>
She came to the table and looked closely at Mataeru’s face.
“Well, you are certainly cute. Too brooding though.”
she then sat in her own chair
“Compliments aside, my name is Lyria. Lyria ArZalor. It is a pleasure to meet you, Mataeru Lloria.”

Mataeru:
He nods in response to her scrutiny and greeting
"So you are the one Dormin was talking about in the signal room on Lua? I did not know members of Orokin Nobility still live."

<Lyria>
"That's me. And as to me being alive, that i have Dormin to thank for. When Tenno started...the thing... He was protecting me, even though he didn't had to..."

Dormin:
he interrupted her, with passion in his voice,his fist hitting the table.
"That bloodshed was unnecessary besides any other description i could think of for it. I'm yet to understand why the hell the whole thing started. And why do they had to kill everyone. Even children. So yes. I did what i thought was right. And if anyone wants to judge me for it, they welcome to duel me."
after he realized what he just said, he retracted his hand back.
"Forgive me, my lady, Mataeru, i don't know what got into me."

<Lyria>
she looked at him with patience in her eyes. Once he finished and apologized, she smiled to him
"Don't worry about that, Dormin. Nobody is angry. You just speaking your thoughts. But yeah, that is the answer for your question. Now its time for mine. Why do you think that you are capable of ending such a long war? Besides being a part of some secret group of Tenno during the Old War."

Mataeru:
He chuckles
"Anyone can think they are capable. However, I have spent the last three and a half decades learning about my enemies, and I have a plan that will work if I can successfully recruit enough Tenno."

<Lyria>
she looked at Mata with some doubt in her eyes.
"So this is all that you need? Giant snowball of Tenno to roll over the system. Hm. If it was that easy, some other Tenno would have done it already.  So. Share the details with us and we will see what we can provide. Besides obvious brute force."

Mataeru:
"I am offended that you think of me to be so brute. And just because you and your Tenno have
said you would like to work with us. But considering you do not have a Warframe of your own, and seem to have no way to contribute to our efforts, you..." he gestures to Lyria "Do not have the privilege to hear about my strategies. For all I know, considering you are Orokin nobility, you could be working for potential enemies."

Dormin:
"Ha. You both do like to take things for their face value. That makes me sad. Remember what i said, both of you. Don't judge and you will not be judged. Will you allow me to put situation as it is, mistress?"

<Lyria>
"Fine... Like i know any of those "potential enemies"..."
she said with a pouty face

Dormin:
"Me and my mistress as of right now could be considered your hostages of sorts. Cause you are the only one who has any tangible plan to bring things to peace, while any other would ignore such a notion or pervert it for their own purpose. Basically if we out there  - we are either forced into hiding on our Orbiter till the day we die or I'm killed and she - slaughtered for her blood and organs. We are not gonna be a deadweight. Lyria can provide to your cause in a way that no other Tenno could. ArZalor is an old bloodline. Sektarus Bloodline. If you have a plan that will work - all benefits of us being in your service are yours. I don't think i need to describe the exact things she could do for your cause."

Mataeru:
he turns to Lyria with a renewed interest
"Is this true? Do you hold the sectarus gene?"

<Lyria>
she was visually pleased to finally see  Mataeru interested.
"If i wasn't Sectarus this conversation would not be taking place at all. We've been awake only for a couple of months. All those statues are result of our intrusion into some of the Towers. We basically survived of selling them on the black market. "

Dormin:
he interjected
"While avoiding the subject of how we actually get that many, obviously. If anyone would've find out, there would be a witch hunt."

<Lyria>
"Exactly. So, as you can see, I take a great risk in providing you with my services. But it's the only way in which i would not be marked as a " thing of value" or "potential enemy". I don't know what Orokin did to most of the Tenno, i was too young to be allowed to know that. But i saw what my parents did to Dormin. Believe me when i say that I don't want to see anyone chained up like a dog forced to serve, Tenno or anyone else."

Mataeru:
he nods in agreement with her statement
"And that is why we fight, and what we fight for. To liberate the origin system from the corruption of its current rulers."

Dormin:
he inquired
"Can you tell us more at least about our enemies? Who are those current rulers we fight against?"

Mataeru:
he turns to face Dormin
"We will be facing the Lotus and her Tenno, the Corpus, the Grineer, and the Sentients currently in our galaxy."
he interlaces his fingers with each other
"It will be a long war, but it
will end. I have no doubt about that."

<Lyria>
girl looked befuddled.
"Grineer? Those things... They were just cloned flesh... How?"

Dormin:
"Please provide more details. As we said many times, we don't know much about current state of the system. An uninformed ally is a double-edged sword."

Mataeru:
he raises his eyebrow
"You were both not kidding...."
he sighs and runs a hand through his hair before continuing
"The Corpus have become a vast merchant empire, while the Grineer have become a savage and ruthless matriarchy, governed by twin Queens."

Dormin:
"Why would we? If i remember, the exact words i said - "topics of today's discussion are no laughing matter." During such a war - rarely there is a time for a joke. Anyway, merchants are easy enough to deal with. Hit the wallet and they will beg for mercy. We just need to find the hole in that wallet. If they run out of money, the whole thing will crumble, and whoever fights for them will find some other employer."

<Lyria>
"I was thinking the same thing but... Grineer Queens? If i remember correctly there were no women models in Grineer production."

Mataeru:
"Things have changed.... in the last five hundred years. A lot of things have changed."
he leans back in his seat
"If you have any questions I can try and fill you in."

Dormin:
"Sentients. How serious is it? Did we celebrate victory too soon?"

Mataeru:
"Celebrate...."
he spits the word out with apparent distaste "is not what happened on that day... The Sentients were defeated back then, but they have since returned. And are growing in power."

Dormin:
"Word "bloodshed" was a little overused and not fitting for the Sentients situation. And let me guess - nobody knows where they hiding right now?"

<Lirya>
she was silent trough the most of the talks, thinking about something else

Dormin:
"So to summarize - we have enemies all over the system, even in those we "supposedly" should count as our allies and we don't have numbers to deal with them.  Yet."

Mataeru:
"In essence, yes. But I have plans to allow us to gain a foothold safely and bolster our numbers for the next two sequential attacks. Those I will share when we are preparing to actually move out. For now I want everyone to get familiar with their comrades. We will be working closely in the coming months."

<Lyria>
"Don't worry, we trust in your plans, even though lack of details does not allow us a way to apply our skills..."

Dormin:
"I guess we have to mingle."

<Lyria>
she was visibly disgusted to hear what Dormin said
"Dont even use that word. I had enough of "mingling" during my mother's  parties. All those snobs looking for my mother's approval and propositions of marriage... eugh. "

Mataeru:
He chuckles
"Do not worry, for now, enjoy the safety and peace Sanctuary has to offer.. once we are finally ready to make our move on the origin system, you will have plenty of details."

Dormin:
"Very well... i guess, our talk is over... "

<Lyria>
"But, before you go, will you drink with us? During one of the expeditions to the Orokin Towers, we found a little preserved stash of old Orokin alcoholic beverages. Wine in particular. More or less a recreational thing, really tasty. And not getting into your head. At least if you not drinking it two bottles in a row. "

Mataeru:
he raises his eyebrow
"I will have a single shot. No more. I made it a habit not to drink, but I will allow for an exception here."

Dormin:
"That is kind of the point..."
he took the vial in his hands and poured red wine into the shot glasses, then gave filled shot glasses to Lyria and Mataeru

<Lyria>
she lifted her shot glass with a smile
"A toast then... For the success of our cause! May this war end and be replaced by an age of peace."
she then emptied her shot glass with one sip.

Dormin:
He lifted up his glass in silent agreement, his second hand pushing some button on his mask, that moved many  small plates of the mask away and revealed lower part of his face - his chin and his mouth. The rest of the mask remained in place
"Peace for all."
He repeated the move of his mistress, emptying his glass.

Mataeru:
He raises his glass and nods
"For peace and success."
he then tips his head back and quickly drinks the contents of his shot
