- Lua, Secret Room -
<3/14 DR, 18:12>

~ The Veiled Tenno are, or at least they were, a group that was hidden from the other Tenno and didn't associate with them. So when it came time to sleep, Zavis had the brilliant idea of having his pod hidden at the end of one of many treasure rooms on Lua guarded by a series of tests and/or traps, the last being a riddle room where the answer is only possibly known by a Veiled Tenno. Blocks with the Orokin alphabet need to be arranged to form the answer otherwise the sentry turrets activate. A simple riddle to those who should know the answer, "Who is it that rests beyond this door? I watch over my friends with death as my ally. I give up on this. Bring cake." is what's etched into the wall, some of the words harder to read after the passage of time. ~

Zavis is a quieter man in the group, preferring to stand in the back and observe, thinking, planning, and often working alongside Mataeru to plan their operations in the old war. He's often lazy unless he needs to be serious, usually refusing to do even the simplest of tasks because it requires "too much effort." He enjoys the finer things in life, especially if those finer things are exotic desserts. He enjoys the culinary arts which is probably one of the few tasks where he won't complain about the effort requirement.

 (Zaevis in Orokin)

Mataeru: His Cephalon pings him with an urgent message: "Mata, Zavis' cryopod systems are no longer displaying signs of the error from before. You may want to go and check on him." Upon reading the message, Mataeru briskly made his way to the location Zavis' pod was located. He activated the door to the console and check to see if the traps were still active, hoping they were not

~The traps were active still, but they were broken. Laser beams aiming the wrong way, making them not a threat, other mechanisms that got stuck. It was pretty smooth sailing up to that final riddle room which is working fine. Luckily the answer is easy enough. Right on the other side of the door after the answer is made, the Nekros warframe would stand there with its arms crossed, however, it doesn't seem to be currently operational, no doubt from that error. Wait, the error is gone though, he better not be trying to jump scare.~

Mataeru: He makes his way down the hall, disabling the misfiring laser discs and such as he went "I still fail to understand why you would make it such a chore to get to you friend..." A few minutes later he approaches the door, canning the Nekros for active void energy "Why are you not in a weapons locker...?"

~ He would find some active voice energy, to which the Nekros would made a gesture as if sighing. The Nekros steps aside and extends a hand to the pod where Zavis rests, proceeding to cross it's arms again as Mata passes. The room look empty though it's fairly dark and hard to tell. At this point though there's probably no reason to add any extra complication unless Zavis just wanted to be a jerk, but that would require effort.~

Mataeru: "It is good to see that you are awake." he quickly jogs over to the pod and looks at the computer pad on the side, keying a command that causes the pod to slowly slide to an angle parallel to the floor before hissing open

Zavis: The pod opens and Zavis lays inside, arms stretches out at his sides, the black short hair with red highlights, and eventually, the glowing red eyes that shine through when they pop open. He does alternates chuckling and groaning as he starts to slowly sit up. "Just had to scan it first didn't you?" The Nekros would next grab Mata on the shoulder with its bony looking fingers, reaching out with the other hand to help Zavis out the pod as he wobbles, looking like he forgot how to walk. He looks around before fixing his gaze on Mata "Man this place looks like a dump, how long have I been out?" It would appear he's left an imprint on his Nekros as it moves on its own. He must have been able to power it after the error fixed, just enough to charge it with void energy for now.

Mataeru: "You have been asleep for approximately five hundred and fifty years... Things in the system have gotten... out of hand; to put it lightly." Mata calmly reaches up and lifts the Warframes hand off by its little finger and dusts his shoulder, grinning mischievously

Zavis: "Five hundred and fifty hmm? Sheesh." the Nekros helps him walk out of what's basically a dark tomb and he takes in a big breath of air "We can get to system in a bit. I see you came alone, what of the others?"

Mataeru: He sighs and shakes his head "Besides the others who are still in their cryostasis pods here, I do not know of the others who were elsewhere at the time of the Collapse." He follows Zavis out of the room

Zavis: "Ah so not all of them came here." he would look around down one way and then the other once they get past all the broken traps, a confused hum can be heard as he ponders something "Where might my orbiter be? I wish to see if it still functions, perhaps we can catch up. I figure there's something going on for you to wake me after all this time and say things have gotten out of hand. Also... did you not read the riddle?" he asked turning around with the assistance of Nekros to look at his hands "where's the cake?"

Mataeru: "My baking skills are subpar at best. So you will have to forgive me for not making you a cake. I could however brew you some Lunar Pitcher tea." he steps up to take the lead, gesturing the Tenno to follow him "Your orbiter is stationed in the Hangar just like mine and the others'. Mine has been functional after all these years, so if your Cephalon was properly shut down, unlike Tauria... It will be as if you had just used it yesterday."

Zavis: He shrugged at his lack of baking skills. "You could have bought one. I hope you don't mean to tell me that whatever you have us using as a base is completely devoid of sweets because that won't do at all. Surely you at least have a stash of cookies for..." he paused a moment and looked up in thought. "What was her name... Kuva? Kuve?" he would say as he's led to the hangar. His cephalon, Gallun, should have been properly shut down, but just as his pod had some kind of error, something with the cephalon could have gone wrong as well.

Mataeru: "I saw no point to purchasing and procuring foods with no health benefits. As for something sweet, I have fruit...?" His tone of voice sounded hopeful as he said the word fruit

Zavis: He followed with a sigh as they neared the hangar where his orbiter should be "So basically, you're telling me I'm screwed? Okay let us leave this depressing topic then, bring me up to speed on what's been going on."

Mataeru: "Would you like the long version or the short version?" He stops after a few minutes to open the door to the hangar and steps aside for Zavis to enter.

Zavis: He would step into the hangar, walking over to the orbiters entrance. He would look over to Mata with narrowed eyes at being given the option. "Is that really a question that needs asking? I would fall asleep to the short version.*

Mataeru: if he had been there he would have blinked at the statement "If you remember the slaughter of the Orokin during the victory ceremony, then you should also remember that it was odd behavior for the Tenno to suddenly take up arms and massacre the Orokin people. After I woke up a couple decades ago, I did my own research and investigation and discovered that a Sentient had managed to make it's way into the Orokin ranks and trick the Tenno into following her orders. She was clever and disguised herself as Margulis, which is what stole the Tenno's loyalties. She now goes by the name of "Lotus" and uses the Tenno to keep a "balance" between the now Grineer Empire, and Corpus Houses." he sighs and continues after a few moments "To make things worse, the Sentients have returned and are hunting anything Orokin down and destroying it. There are many Sentients on Lua at the present, and even more on Earth and a few on Uranus where Hunhow's bones were discovered. To summarize, the world went down a broodmother's gullet and came out as infested excrement."

Zavis: He listened to the story, soaking in the details. "I see, though I must disagree with your statement. I knew full well they had it coming, I just didn't expect it to happen right then and there nor so easily." he shrugged and then looked at the orbiter. "So where is it you call home? I assume you want to do something about these Sentients and the Lotus so that means you have a place to gather forces, right?"

Mataeru: "For the time being Sanctuary here is home. If by some stroke of luck, we are able to find a Tenno with Sectarus genes, or locate an undamaged Tower Cephalon, I would like to procure an Orokin Tower from the void for our use." Mata steps forward and leans against one of the landing craft's struts

Zavis: "Oh, we're here already then." he would look over his shoulder at the orbiter and then proceed toward the hangars exit. "In that case I'll deal with my orbiter later? Or do we not have anything at all here? Other Tenno that join your cause perhaps?"

Mataeru: "At the present, it is just you and I, and a few resources I've collected over the last few years." he shrugs "If you wish to examine your orbiter, you may do so."

Zavis: He stopped with a sigh and turned around once again, heading for the orbiter instead. "Very well, I'll tinker around with my orbiter and get it going again. If you need me, you know where to find me." He would wait a few moments before entering the orbiter via a ramp on the side.
